From conceiving an idea to creating a final print, the photographic process is a passion for Michael Hardison. Through continued exposure to many facets of the fine arts from an early age, Michael is inspired to look at the world differently. He developed his own perspective through self-directed exploration and formal education at The Evergreen State College and the California Institute of the Arts.
With the support of his family, Michael is once again exploring the converging natural and man-made environments, looking to make a positive imprint in the photographic world.
Working from traditional film and darkroom methods and evolving to the current digital medium, Michael has developed a solid foundation in imagery and printmaking. Michael’s work is branded by seeing things from a unique perspective of lines, space, color and how light plays across them. The abstract within the ordinary is his specialty.
